A lorry loaded with milk churns makes it’s way across the old Youghal Bridge in the mid-1940s. The bridge was subject to a speed limit of 5 miles per hour because of its deteriorating condition. It was eventually replaced by a new bridge which opened for traffic in 1963. (via Facebook)
