      That building on the corner hasn’t changed much since then! I wonder if it’ll still be around when we’re gone?

  1. Narrow-gage open-topped double-decker streetcar (or perhaps “tram” is the preferred European term), with dual wires–like the latter-day rubber-tired trolley bus. Fantastic! As a lifelong trolley enthusiast, I’ve never seen anything like it, in real life or in photos.
    I believe my ancestors sailed from Cork. –Thank you for a memorable scene.
