Albert Quay Train Station

Albert Quay Train Station

It’s amazing to see pictures like this when I know that something existed in an area and there are remnants of it there still.

This picture of a train departing Albert Quay Train Station in Cork was taken sometime in the sixties probably.

In the photo above I recognise two things. The wall on the far left is the wall next to the dual-carriageway coming from the Kinsale Road Roundabout, and the red brick building is the metal works one over by Albert Street.
